1. Protective Coating Application Course

This Train the painter (TTP) Protective Coating Application training course is the foundation for all other TTP courses and must be completed in order to undertake any further programmes. It covers all the essential knowledge required prior to stepping on site. This is in addition to one day of essential practical training that applies all the key skills you will have learnt from the important five days of theory allowing you to put your hard work into a practical setting. From this course you will receive the Bronze CSCS 5-year ID card which is globally recognised as the minimum training requirement, making it the perfect introduction for anyone just starting out.

5 days of in person theoretical and practical training or online theory training followed by one day of practical training

More than 1,600 hours experience -Train the painter Bronze Protective Coating Applicator ID card and e-Certificate valid for 5 years. Less than 1,600 hours experience -Train the painter Trainee Protective Coating Applicator ID card and e-Certificate valid for 5 years.

• Train the painter is a CSCS partner card scheme member. All TTP ID cards are official CSCS skills cards featuring the CSCS hologram. ID cards can be verified on the CSCS Smart card checker App.

2. Spray Painting Course

This two-day Train the painter Spray Painting course is the perfect follow on from the Protective Coating Applicator course. It takes the fundamental key skills you have learnt and builds on them, furthering your knowledge and increasing your employability in this expanding industry. Through taking this course you are not only upskilling but opening yourself up to a new career path specialising in both professional airless and conventional Spray Painting.

3. Abrasive Blast Cleaning Course

After building up your knowledge on the Protective Coating Applicator course, take this two-day abrasive blast cleaning course to further specialise your skillset. This Painter Blaster course provides you with both the theoretical knowledge, as well as a day of practical experience to become qualified to work using multiple blast media.

You will gain hands on experience with different abrasive materials, including sandblasting, which is widely used for surface preparation in various industries. By the end of the course, you’ll be well prepared to apply your skills in real world scenarios, ensuring surfaces are ready for protective coatings or further treatments. This course is an excellent step for those looking to enhance their proficiency and expand their career opportunities in abrasive blast cleaning.

3. Thin Film Intumescent Coating Application course
